Kent CC Contract Win
January 2012
'Jubilant' best describes the mood here at the DEF HQ today as we've been awarded a 5-year contract to provide our brand new Highways Response module, alongside our dedicated Road Adoption module, to Kent County Council.
Boasting one of the largest Road and Highways networks of any County, Kent CC is at the forefront of modern Highways management, which has led Kent to make an investment in software which they deem 'best in market.'
DEF CEO, David Frame, adds: "We've worked collaboratively with Kent and a number of other Counties to develop a specification for the Highways Response module that gives them what they need, not only now, but long into the future. They engaged with a number of other software providers and tested the market thoroughly, so I'm delighted that the DEF team really shone through in regard to development capability, process understanding, service and good old fashioned competitiveness."
The Highways Response and Road Adoption module go live with Kent County Council in April 2012.
